      Content: Eskişehir’in Seyitgazi İlçesi’nde yer alan Seyit Battal Gazi Külliyesi, şehrin en önemli gezi noktalarından biridir. İlçe adını buradaki bir savaşta hayatını kaybeden Battal Gazi’den almıştır. Battal Gazi Emevilerin Bizans’a yönelik seferlerine komutanlık etmiş bir kişidir. Bu savaşların en önemlileri ve destansı niteliktekilerine komutanlık eden Gazi, son savaşını bu gün bu ilçe sınırları içinde kalan Nakolea Kalesi önünde vermiştir. Ölüm tarihi 740 olarak belirtilmektedir. Türbenin bulunduğu alan aslında bir külliye olarak inşa edilmiştir. Yapı günümüze ulaşan en önemli Selçuklu eserleri arasında yer almaktadır. İçerisinde Battal Gazi ile birlikte 1. Alaaddin Keykubat’ın annesi Ummuhan Hatun, Battal Gazi ismiyle birlikte tarihe mal olmuş Elenora‘nın mezarı yer almaktadır.   Seyit Battal Gazi Külliyesi Seyit Battal Gazi Türbesi kendi mezarı da burada bulunan Ummuhan Hatun tarafından yaptırılmıştır.
